A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION, ARIZONA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 80-5 PERTAINING TO AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona, approved Resolution No. 80-5 on February 20, 1980; and
WHEREAS, that intergovernmental agreement provides for the addition
of projects with approval of both the City and the State; and
WHEREAS, the City has approved Resolutions No. 83-47 and No. 83-48
providing for the installation of new traffic signals at U.S. 60 and Meridian
Drive/U.S 60 and Idaho Road respectively.
THEREFORE NOW BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Apache Junction, Arizona,
that the intergovernmental maintenance agreement be amended to include projects
at the intersections of U.S. 60 and Meridian Drive/U.S. 60 and Idaho Road.

LETTER ADDENDUM
In accordance with paragraph 7 of the Agreement (A.G.No.80-177,
Secretary of State No.6229,dated 3-26-80)for the operation and maintenance
of traffic signals and/or highway lighting between the STATE OF ARIZONA
and the CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION consummated on March 26,1980,i t i s
agreed by both parties that the following intersections be added to
the existing list of intersections to be operated and maintained as
set forth i n said Agreement.
Meridian and US 60
Idaho and US 60
