A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING THE CENTRAL ARIZONA ASSOCIATION
OF GOVERNMENTS (CAAG)TO ACT AS PRIME CONTRACTOR ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION FOR THE SPECIAL 1985 CENSUS.
WHEREAS,i t is in the best interest of the City of Apache Junction
to obtain current and accurate population figures;and
WHEREAS,the Central Arizona Association of Governments (CAAG)has
agreed to act as prime contractor for a special census to be conducted by
the Department of Commerce,Bureau of the Census,in 1985;and
WHEREAS,i t i s in the best interest of the City of Apache Junction
to authorize the Central Arizona Association of Governments (CAAG)to act
on behalf of Apache Junction in conducting the special census;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THAT THE CENTRAL
ARIZONA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS (CAAG)BE AUTHORIZED TO
ACT AS PRIME CONTRACTOR ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION FOR THE SPECIAL CENSUS.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 7TH DAY OF AUGUST ,1984.
