RESOLUTION NO.84-57
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF
$3,300,000 INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS,(GENE E.
LYNN WELLNESS CENTER PROJECT),SERIES 1984,OF THE
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA.
WHEREAS,the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Apache
Junction,Arizona (the "Authority"),proposes to issue its Industrial
Development Revenue Bonds (Gene E.Lynn Wellness Center Project),Series
of 1984 (the "Bonds"),in accordance with and pursuant to the Industrial
Development Plans for Municipalities and Counties Act,Title 9,Chapter 11,
Arizona Revised Statutes,as amended (the "Act");and
WHEREAS,under Section 9-1171.6 of the Act,the proceedings under
which the Bonds are to be issued require the approval of the Mayor and
Council of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona for the issuance of the
Bonds;and
WHEREAS,the information regarding the project to be financed
from the proceeds of the Bonds has been presented to the Mayor and Council
of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona;and
WHEREAS,a public hearing is to be held on November 1,1984 in
the Council Chambers of the City Council Building,1001 North Idaho Road,
Apache Junction,Arizona,following reasonable public notice at least 14
days i n advance of said hearing for the purpose of satisfying Section 103 (k)
of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954,as amended;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THAT THE ISSUANCE OF THE BONDS IS HEREBY
APPROVED.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 24TH DAY OF OCTOBER,1984.
