A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,PINAL AND MARICOPA COUNTIES,ARIZONA,
ORDERING AND CALLING A SPECIAL BOND ELECTION TO BE HELD IN
AND FOR THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ON MAY 15,1984.
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,believe i t to be i n the best interest of the City to sell
$1,500,000 principal amount of bonds of the City to include street
improvement bonds;and
WHEREAS,i t i s necessary that the Mayor and Council submit the
question of the issuance and sale of such bonds to the qualified electors
of the City;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I :A special bond election in the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona i s hereby called to be held on May 15,1984,to submit to the
qualified electors of the City Proposition 102 as shown on the form of
ballot attached as Exhibit A which i s a part of this Resolution.
SECTION II:The special election will be called and notice thereof
given by posting a copy of this resolution in at least five public places
in the City not less than twelve days prior to the date of election,by
posting a copy at each polling place and by publishing a copy not less
than once a week for three successive weeks i n the Mesa Tribune,a
-newspaper of general circulation in the City.
SECTION III:The City Clerk and other officers of the City are hereby
authorized and directed to do all things necessary or appropriate to the
conduct of the election.

APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 3RD DAY OF APRIL
1984.

I.
PROPOSITION 102:
Shall the City of Apache Junction be authorized to issue and sell
street improvement bonds of the City i n the principal amount of
$1,500,000 to provide funds to construct the streets of the City
and to alleviate the Pinal Street drainage problem;the bonds
to be issued i n one or more series to bear interest at a rate
of not to exceed 12 %per annum,i n denominations of $1,000
or multiples thereof,with interest payable semiannually on the
first day of January and the first day of July of each year and
with principal payable not later than ten years from the date
issued?

UNA RESOLUCION DEL ALCALDE Y EL CONCEJO MUNICIPAL DE LA CIUDAD
DE APACHE JUNCTION,CONDADOS DE PINAL Y MARICOPA,ARIZONA,UNA
RESOLUCION ORDENADO Y CONVOCANDO UNA ELECCION ESPECIAL POR LA
CIUDAD DE APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,EL 15 DE MAYO DE 1984.
POR CUANTO,el Presidente Municipal y el Concilio de l a Ciudad de
Apache Junction,Arizona,creen que esta en el mejor interes de la Ciudad
vender bonos financieros de la Ciudad en la suma principal de $1,500,000,
incluyendo Bonos Financieros de Calle Majoramiento;y
POR.CUANTO,es necesario que el Presidente Municipal y el Concilio
entreguen fa cuestion de -la emision y yenta de tales bonos financieros a
los electores calificados de l a Ciudad;y
AHORA,.POR LO TANTO,QUE.EL PRESIDENTE MUNICIPAL Y -EL CONCILIO DE
LA CIUDAD DE. APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,RESUELVAN:
SECCION I :Una eleccion especial de bonos financieros en l a Ciudad de
Apache Junction,Arizona,por la presente sera convocado y tendra lugar
el 15 de Mayo de 1984,para entregarles a los electores calificados de
la Ciudad l a Proposicion 102 como pueden verse en la forma de l a balota
adjunta como Exhibicion "A"la cual es una parte de esta resolucion.
SECCION II:Se convocara l a eleccion especial y aviso de eso sera dado
por fijar una copia de esta resolucion en por l o menos cinco lugares
publicos en l a Ciudad no menos de doce dias antes de la fecha de la
eleccion,por fijar una copia en cada lugar de votacion y por publicar
una copia no menos que una vez por semana por tres semanas consecutivas
en el Mesa Tribune,un periodico de circulacion general en l a Ciudad.
SECCION III:El Escribando y los otros oficiales de la Ciudad son autorizados
y instruidos de hacer todo l o necesario o apropiado para conducir l a eleccion.
PASADA,ADOPTADA Y APROBADA por el Presidente Municipal y el
Concilio de l a Ciudad de Apache Junction,Arizona,el 3 de Abril,1984.

PROPOSICION 102:
Se debera autorizan l a Ciudad de Apache Junction,Arizona,emitir y
vender bonos financieros de calle majoramiento de l a Ciudad en la suma
principal de $1,500,000 para construccion de las calles nuevas de la
ciudad y para aliviar problemas con desague de la Pinal Street;los bonos
financieros seran emitidos en una serie o mas,llevaran interes a una tasa
que no excedera 12%por ano,en denominaciones de $1,000 o multiplos de
eso,con el interes pagadero semianualmente en el primer dia de emero
y el primer dia de julio de cada ano y con el principal pagadero diez
anos a*mas tardar de la fecha de la emision?
