A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ORDERING THE SALE OF CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,STREET AND HIGHWAY USER REVENUE
BONDS,PROJECT OF 1984,IN THE TOTAL AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL
AMOUNT OF $1,500,000,FIXING THE DATE AND HOUR OF SALE,
DIRECTING THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS
FOR PURCHASE OF BONDS,AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That $1,500,000 Street and Highway User Revenue
Bonds,Project of 1984,of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona (the
"City"),which were voted on at a special bond election held i n the
City on May 15,1984,shall be offered for public sale by the City at
the date and hour set forth i n the official notice of sale of bonds,
substantially i n the form attached hereto.
Section 2.That the City Clerk i s hereby authorized and
directed to cause said official notice of sale of bonds to be published
once a week for four (4)consecutive weeks i n the Mesa Tribune,a news-
paper published i n Maricopa County,Arizona,and of general circulation
i n the City,prior to the date set to receive bids on the bonds.
Section 3.That the immediate operation of this Resolution
i s necessary for the preservation of the public health and welfare and
an emergency i s hereby declared to exist,and this Resolution shall be
i n full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the
Mayor and Council of the City,as required by law,and i t i s hereby
exempt from the referendum provisions of the Constitution and laws of
the State of Arizona.
