A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ESTABLISHING THE SPEED LIMIT
ON ROYAL PALM ROAD,BETWEEN SOUTHERN AVENUE AND US HWY 60.
WHEREAS,i t is i n the public interest to insure safe,effective
and efficient traffic flow along public rights -of -way within the City
limits of Apache Junction,Arizona;and
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Apache Junction,that the speed limit shall be 30 MPH
on Royal Palm Road from Southern Avenue to US Hwy 60.
BE -IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works i s
empowered and directed to initiate appropriate action to install the
speed limit signs on the reference street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3RD day of MIY ,1984,by
the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona.
