A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF $1,500,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA STREET AND HIGHWAY USER REVENUE
BONDS,PROJECT OF 1984;AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA:
Section 1.That the proposal of Dean Witter Reynolds,Inc.
resulted i n the lowest net interest cost to the City and was the best
proposal received for the purchase of $1,500,000 principal amount of City
of Apache Junction,Arizona Street and Highway User Revenue Bonds,Project
of 1984 (the "Bonds")and the proposal i s hereby accepted and the Bonds
hereby ordered sold to Dean Witter Reynolds,Inc.
Section 2.That the Bonds shall bear interest from their date
to the maturity of each of the Bonds in accordance with the winning bid,
a copy of which i s attached hereto.
Section 3.That the Clerk i s hereby authorized and directed to
deliver the Bonds to the purchaser upon receipt of payment therefor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA THIS 9th DAY OF JULY,1984.
