A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ORDER THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS
WITHIN AN AREA DESCRIBED AS SUPERSTITION VIEW MOBILE HOME
ESTATES,A SUBDIVISION RECORDED IN BOOK 15,PAGE 26,P.C.R.,
PINAL COUNTY,ARIZONA.
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council on August 20,1985,did pass
Resolution of Intention No.84-68,declaring the intention of the
City to purchase electricity including a charge for the use of lighting
facilities,for lighting an area described as Superstition View Mobile Home
Estates,a Subdivision recorded in Book 15,Page 26,P.C.R.,Pinal County,
Arizona;and
WHEREAS,the cost of the lighting i s to be assessed on a certain
district,known as the Apache Junction Improvement District SL No.8501-1;
and
WHEREAS,Resolution No.84-68 was published and posted pursuant to
A.R.S.Sec.9-675;and
WHEREAS,the time period allowed for protests pursuant to A.R.S.
Sec.9-676 expires on September 8,1985;and
WHEREAS,the protests received are insufficient to bar further
proceedings;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Apache Junction,that the Director of Public Works be empowered and
directed to proceed with the improvement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,this 17th day of September ,1985.
