RESOLUTION NO.85-42
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DECLARING INTENT TO CONDUCT
PUBLIC FORUMS,ON A QUARTERLY BASIS,WITHIN THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION.
WHEREAS,during the years past our City has demonstrated its
vitality and faith in the future;and
WHEREAS,as members of the City Council,we have been elected
by the citizens of Apache Junction to provide them
with sound and responsible government;and
WHEREAS,our success at meeting the wishes of the people can
only be measured by the response and input of our
citizens;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,that public forums,
structured informally and conducted similarly to town hall
meetings,be held within the city limits on a quarterly
basis so that all citizens of Apache Junction can address
the City Council and make their concerns known.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 15TH DAY OF OCTOBER
1985.
