A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ESTABLISHING THE SPEED LIMIT OF
30 MPH ON WINCHESTER ROAD BETWEEN BROADWAY AVENUE AND
SOUTHERN AVENUE.
WHEREAS,i t i s i n the public interest to insure safe,effective and efficient
traffic flow along public rights -of -way within the City limits of Apache Junction,
Arizona;and
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Apache Junction that the speed limit shall be 30 MPH on Winchester Road
from Broadway Avenue to Southern Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works i s empowered
and directed to initiate appropriate action to install the speed limit signs
on the referenced street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5TH day of FEBRUARY ,l g 85 ,
by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona.
