HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 85-07RESOLUTION NO.85-07 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS THROUGH THE CITY MANAGER TO ORDER THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS WITHIN A PORTION OF THE SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS APACHE VILLA FOUR AND DESCRIBED AS: APACHE VILLA FOUR,LOTS 16 THROUGH 74,as recorded i n Book 19,Page 61,Drawer 4,Pinal County Records, Pinal County,Arizona. WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council on February 5,1985,did pass Resolution of Intention No.84-67 declaring the intention of the City to purchase electricity including a charge for the use of lighting facilities for lighting an area described as Apache Villa IV,Lots 16 through 74;and WHEREAS,the cost of the lighting i s to be assessed on a certain district known as Apache Junction Improvement District SL 8312-1,and WHEREAS Resolution No.84-67 was published and posted pursuant to the Arizona Revised Statutes,Section 9-675;and WHEREAS,the time period allowed for protests pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-676 expired on March 4,1985;and WHEREAS,no protests were received. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction that the Director of Public Works,through the City Manager,i s hereby empowered and directed to order the installation of street lights. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,this 19th day of March ,1985.
