A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER NOT TO
ISSUE BUILDING PERMITS OR USE PERMITS FOR BILLBOARDS UNTIL
12:00 NOON,APRIL,17,1985.
WHEREAS,RESOLUTION NO.85-03 prohibited the issuance of building
or use permits for billboards until April 16,1985;and
WHEREAS,the City Council's public hearing on Ordinance No.292,
known as the "Sign Code of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,"has been
advertised for April 16,1985.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,that the City Manager i s hereby
directed to henceforth prohibit the issuance of building or use permits
for billboards until 12:00 Noon,April 17,1985,or as otherwise directed
by the City Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 19TH DAY OF MARCH ,19 85 .
