A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,REQUESTING A LIMITED EXEMPTION
TO THE STANDARD LETTER SIZE PAPER REQUIREMENTS FROM THE
DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LIBRARY,ARCHIVES AND
PUBLIC RECORDS.
WHEREAS,Arizona Revised Statutes §39-103 establishes size
standards of eight and one-half inches by eleven
inches for public records of the City of Apache
Junction;and
WHEREAS,A.R.S.§39-103 also provides for the granting of
exemptions to this section by the Department of
Library,Archives and Public Records upon written
application;and
WHEREAS,the cost of using standard size paper by January 1,1987
would be prohibitive for the City of Apache Junction
due to the present supply of legal size forms and
official records paper in post bound volumes.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THAT THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
LIBRARY,ARCHIVES AND PUBLIC RECORDS BE REQUESTED TO GRANT A LIMITED
EXEMPTION TO THE PAPER SIZE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION
UNTIL JUNE 30,1987.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 4TH DAY OF NOVEMBER ,1986.
