A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCITON,PINAL AND MARICOPA COUNTIES,ARIZONA,
CONDUCTING AND ACCEPTING THE OFFICIAL CANVASS OF VOTES
FOR THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD MAY 13,1986.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCITON,ARIZONA,THAT:
WHEREAS,the Special Election for the purpose of referring one
proposition regarding a one-half cent increase in the city sales tax to
the voters of Apache Junction was held on May 13,1986;and
WHEREAS,in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes §16-642,
a special meeting of the City Council was held May 20,1986,for the
purpose of canvassing the returns of said election;and
WHEREAS,the City Council did canvass the election returns at
said special meeting and did determine the official results of the Special
Election to be as follows:
PROPOSITION 300:Referring Ordinance No.478 pertaining to the adoption of
an additional one-half cent city sales tax to the voters.
