A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING THE INVESTMENT OF
CITY MONIES IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT INVESTMENT POOL.
WHEREAS,local governments in Arizona are authorized to parti-
cipate i n a Local Government Investment Pool,established pursuant to
section 35-326,Arizona Revised Statutes,and operated by the State
Treasurer;and
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction desires to participate
in the Local Government Investment Pool;
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Apache Junction does hereby authorize the deposit and
withdrawal of City of Apache Junction idle funds in the Local Govern-
ment Investment Pool operated by the State Treasurer in accordance with
section 35-326,Arizona Revised Statutes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following officers/agents or
their successors in office be authorized to order the deposit or with-
drawal of monies in the Local Government Investment Pool:
