A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,PROVIDING AUTHORIZATION FOR THE
BUILDIA DIVISION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO APPROVE
ELECTRItAL SERVICE INSTALLATIONS PRIOR TO SERVICE CONNECTION.
WHEREAS,t i s i n the public interest to insure safe electrical
service installations and wiring;and
WHEREAS,i t i s i n the interest of the City of Apache Junction to
know where and for what purposes electrical services are installed within
its jurisdiction;and
WHEREAS,Section 90-2 of the 1981 National Electrical Code as
adopted by the City of Apache Junction regulates such connection;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,requests of Salt River Project
that no further electrical services within the corporate limits of the
City of Apache Junction be connected to power without the prior approval
of this jurisdiction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 7TH DAY OF APRIL ,1987.
