HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 88-36RESOLUTION NO.88-36 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DECLARING DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS BE DESIGNATED THE AUTHORIZED AGENT FOR THE APACHE JUNCTION FACILITY PLANNING AREA FOR PURPOSE OF FILING APPLICATION FOR AN ADVANCE ALLOWANCE GRANT WITH THE UNITED STATE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY FOR IDENTIFYING POTENTIAL POLLUTION PROBLEMS AND RECOMMENDING SOLUTIONS. WHEREAS,it is the desire of the City of Apache Junction to file an application for a Step One U.S.E.P.A.Advance Allowance for the planning stage of identifying potential pollution problems and recommending solutions;and WHEREAS,it is necessary to designate a representative for filing said application,be it resolved that the Director of Public Works be and hereby is designated as representative of the city for the purpose of filing the application for the advance allowance for the above referenced project;and that he is further authorized and empowered to take necessary steps in connection with said application. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 20TH DAY OF DECEMBER ,1988.
