A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN
EXISTING DETACHED SIGN THAT IS HIGHER THAN PERMITTED FOR THE
WINCHESTER RESTAURANT.
WHEREAS,said sign is an on -site sign and shall be used for the purpose of
identifying the business located on the following described property;
The Northwest quarter (NW 1/4)of the Northwest quarter (NW 1/4)of the
Southeast quarter (SE 1/4)of the Southwest quarter (SW 1/4),Section 21
Township 1 North,Range 8 East of the Gila and Salt River Base and
Meridian,Pinal County,Arizona,per Docket 1634,Page 870,Official
Records of the Pinal County Recorder.
WHEREAS,satisfactory evidence has been received to indicate that the sign
does not present a hazard to vehicular and/or pedestrian traffic;and
WHEREAS,satisfactory evidence has been received to indicate that the sign
is compatible in appearance with the existing structures and surrounding
development;and
WHEREAS,i t is understood that the Conditional Use Permit may be revoked by
the City Council upon a finding that there has been material noncompliance with
any condition prescribed in conjunction with the granting of this Conditional
Use Permit;and
WHEREAS,i t is understood that the Conditional Use Permit may be revoked by
the City Council upon a finding that the sign structure has been altered from
that structure approved in Apache Junction Building Permit Number 2121;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Apache Junction, Arizona,that a Conditional Use Permit be approved for the
sign described in case number CUP -2-89 and Building Permit Number 2121 pursuant
to Section 21.43 of the Apache Junction,Arizona Zoning Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 16TH DAY OF JANUARY ,1990
