A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN AMENDMENT
TO COMMERCE CDBG CONTRACT # 837-87A AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO SIGN THE CONTRACT AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction,Arizona has entered into a
contract with the Department of Commerce to perform certain duties funded by
Community Block Grant funds;and
WHEREAS,said contract is known as Commerce Contract No.837-87A;and
WHEREAS,the City has encountered certain unavoidable delays in
completing the terms of the contract;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,submit a request for an extension of such contract,for a period of
six months and that the Mayor be authorized to sign a formal Contract Amendment
pertaining to such an extension.

1989.
