A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN AMENDMENT
TO COMMERCE CDBG CONTRACT #1002-87A AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO SIGN A CONTRACT AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction has entered into a Contract
with the Department of Commerce to perform certain duties funded by the
Community Development Block Grant funds;and
WHEREAS,said contract is known as Commerce CDBG Contract
No.1002-87A;and
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction has encountered certain
unavoidable delays in completing the terms of the Contract;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Apache Junction
submit a request for an extension of such contract,for a period of six (6)
months and that the Mayor be authorized to sign a formal Contract Amendment
pertaining to such an extension.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION THIS
20TH DAY OF FEBRUARY ,1990.
