A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,FINDING IT NECESSARY TO ACQUIRE ADDITIONAL ROADWAY
RIGHT-OF-WAY ON BROADWAY ROAD BETWEEN IRONWOOD AND MERIDIAN,AND
DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY IN THE NAME OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,TO CONDEMN PROPERTY NECESSARY AND CONVENIENT TO BE TAKEN FOR
THE IMPROVEMENTS,AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,have previously stated its intent to make certain roadway improvements
to Broadway Road between Meridian and Ironwood located within the City limits of
Apache Junction,Arizona,and
WHEREAS,such roadway improvements require the acquisition of
additional roadway right-of-way.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Attorney is hereby
directed to take such actions as are necessary for the condemnation of
properties described in Exhibit A which are necessary for such road
improvements.
WHEREAS,i t is necessary for the preservation of the peace,health,and
safety of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,an emergency is declared to
exist,and this resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and
adoption.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the City Attorney commence such action
within thirty (30)days of passage of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,THIS 3RD DAY OF JULY ,1990.

described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said Lot 24; thence
North along the East line thereof, a distance of 27 feet;
. thence Southwest to a point on the South line of said
lot, said point being 27 feet West of the Southeast
corner thereof; thence East along the South line of said
lot a distance of 27 feet to the Point of Beginning;

described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of said Lot 24, thence
North along the West line thereof, a distance of 27 feet;
thence Southeast to a Point on the South line of said
lot, said Point being 27 feet East of the Southwest
corner thereof; thence West along the South line of said
lot, a distance of 27 feet to the Point of Beginning;
EXCEPT the South 7 feet thereof.
