RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL INDICATING
SUPPORT ON BEHALF OF THE APPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO BE SUBMITTED BY
PINAL COUNTY FOR FY 1990/91.
WHEREAS,the County of Pinal is desirous of submitting an
application for funding under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
program for FY 1990/91.
WHEREAS,the activities proposed by the County for CDBG funding
would be located in and nearby the City of Apache Junction,and would
include the construction of a storage and distribution center for the
local food bank as well as housing rehabilitation services;and
WHEREAS,the County and the City are both committed to a program
of community development that promotes the health and welfare of their
citizens;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,the Mayor and Council of the City
of Apache Junction do hereby declare their support of the Pinal County
FY 1990/91 CDBG application;and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,the City of Apache Junction is willing
to encourage citizens of the Apache Junction area to support the
implementation of the county's CDBG activities to insure it's success.

JUNCTION,ARIZONA, THIS 7TH DAY OF AUGUST ,1990.
