RESOLUTION NO.90-32
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,ENDORSING PARTICIPA-
TION IN THE KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL PROGRAM AND
ACCEPTING SPONSORSHIP.
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,desires to
appearance and promote a clean and attractive community;and
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction seeks to mobilize its
these efforts;and,
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction believes these objectives
can be achieved by fostering behavioral and attitude changes to reduce
litter and support waste recycling through a systematic,ongoing program;
and,
WHEREAS,the Keep America Beautiful System provides guidelines
and methods to address the problems of litter control and waste recycling;
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED,that the City of Apache Junction endorses
participation in the Keep America Beautiful System by mobilizing its
citizens and available resources in a voluntary effort to reduce litter
and to encourage approved methods of waste recycling to enhance community
appearance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
