A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ORDER THE INSTALLATION OF
STREET LIGHTS WITHIN AN AREA DESCRIBED AS SUPERSTITION MEADOWS,A SUBDIVISION AS
RECORDED IN CABINET B SLIDE 22,PINAL COUNTY RECORDER,PINAL COUNTY,ARIZONA.
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council on February 21,1989,did pass Resolution
of intention No.88-12,declaring the intention of the City to purchase electricity
including a charge for the use of lighting facilities,for lighting an area described
as Superstition Meadows,a Subdivision as recorded in Cabinet B Slide 22,Pinal
County Recorder,Pinal County,Arizona;and
WHEREAS,the cost of the lighting is to be assessed on a certain district,known
as the Apache Junction Improvement District No.SL 8805-1;and
WHEREAS,Resolution No.88-12 was published and posted pursuant to A.R.S.
Section 48-578;and
WHEREAS,the time period allowed for protests pursuant to A.R.S.Section 48-579
expired on July 27,1990;and
WHEREAS,no protests were received to bar further proceedings;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache
Junction,Arizona,that the City Manager be directed to proceed with the improvement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,this 2ND day of OCTOBER ,1990.
