A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION POLICE DEPARTMENT TO PURSUE ASSISTANCE FROM THE
ARIZONA GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF HIGHWAY SAFETY FOR THE PURPOSE
OF TWO POLICE OFFICERS ATTENDING THE LIFESAVER 9 NATIONAL
CONFERENCE ON HIGHWAY SAFETY PRIORITIES IN CHARLOTTE,
NORTH CAROLINA.
WHEREAS,as members o f the Apache Junction City Council,we are vitally
interested i n promoting highway safety on the streets of the City of
Apache Junction;and
WHEREAS,the citizens,visitors and community as a whole are a primary
concern to the City Council when driving on the streets of the City
of Apache Junction;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Apache Junction,Arizona,voicing our support for the City of Apache Junction
Police Department to pursue funding through the Governor's Office of Highway
Safety for two Police Officers to attend the Lifesaver 9 Conference in
Charlotte,North Carolina.
