A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DECLARING THAT A CERTAIN DEDICATED RIGHT-OF-WAY
DESCRIBED AS SHIPROCK STREET FROM WICKIUP ROAD TO BOWMAN ROAD
DESCRIBED IN ABANDONMENT CASE AB -92-01,IS NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR
PUBLIC USE AS A ROADWAY AND IS HEREBY VACATED AS A PRESENT OR FUTURE
PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY.
WHEREAS,the requested vacation is a Dedicated right-of-way for public
rights -of -way purposes described as a parcel of land located in Section 15,
Township 1 North,Range 8 East,Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,Apache
Junction,Pinal County,and more particularly as follows:
Parcel 1 -(south side dedicated R/W)
The North thirty-three feet (33')of the West half of the north half
of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 15,Township 1 North,Range 8 East of the Gila
and Salt River Base and Meridian,of Pinal County,Arizona ;and
Parcel 2 -(north side dedicated R/W)
The South thirty-three feet (33')of the Northwest quarter of the
Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 15,Township
1 North,Range 8 East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,
Pinal County,Arizona;Together with triangular site corners
described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4;
Thence easterly along the south line of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 a
distance of 33.00';Thence northerly along a line 33.00'east and
parallel to the west line of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 a distance
of 33.00'to the Point of Beginning;Thence continuing north along
said line a distance of 20.00'to a point;Thence southeasterly to
a point 33.00'north of the south line and 53.00'east of the west
line of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4;Thence westerly along a line
33.00'north and parallel to the south line of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW
1/4 a distance of 20.00'back to the Point of Beginning.and
Commencing at the southeast corner of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4;
Thence westerly along the south line of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 a
distance of 33.00';Thence northerly along a line 33.00'west and
parallel to the east line of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 a distance of
33.00' to the Point of Beginning; Thence continuing north along said
line a distance of 20.00'to a point;Thence southwesterly to a
point 33.00'north of the south line and 53.00'west of the east
line of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4;Thence easterly along a line
33.00'north and parallel to the south line of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 SW
1/4 a distance of 20.00'back to the Point of Beginning.

WHEREAS,the vacation requested,if approved,would not leave a parcel in
separate ownership without access to an established public roadway connecting
such lands with another public roadway,or have access by a Federally Patented
Easement which may in the future be developed;and
WHEREAS,the City Council of The City of Apache Junction,Arizona,finds
that said Dedicated Right-of-way for public rights -of -way purposes as described
herein,is classified as a local street by the City o f Apache Junction,and is
no longer necessary for public use as an street.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Apache Junction, Arizona, that the above -described Dedication reserved for public
right-of-way purposes is hereby extinguished and vacated as present or future
public rights -of -way.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation of the public right-of-way
eliminates the reservations for public utility easements.

JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 2ND DAY OF JUNE ,1992.
