A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,PINAL AND MARICOPA COUNTIES,ARIZONA,CONDUCTING AND
ACCEPTING THE OFFICIAL CANVASS OF VOTES FOR THE APACHE JUNCTION
PRIMARY ELECTION HELD MARCH 9,1993.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction Primary Election for Mayor,three positions of the
Apache Junction City Council and a proposition for the continuation of the Local
Alternative Expenditure Limitation (Proposition 100), was held on March 9,1993;
and
WHEREAS,in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes §16-642,a meeting of the
Apache Junction City Council was held on March 16,1993,for the purpose of
canvassing the returns of the Apache Junction Primary Election;and
WHEREAS, the Apache Junction City Council did canvass the returns at said meeting
and did determine the official results of the Apache Junction Primary Election
to be as follows:
1.The number of ballots cast by precinct:
Pinal County Precinct 42,43 and Maricopa Precinct 21:681 + 28 absentees
Pinal County Precinct 44 and 47:849 + 59 absentees
Pinal County Precinct 45 and 46:438 + 20 absentees
2.The number of ballots rejected by precinct:
Pinal County Precinct 42,43 and Maricopa Precinct 21:2
Pinal County Precinct 44,and 47:3
Pinal County Precinct 45 and 46:3
3.The total number of ballots cast and ballots rejected in city:
Total number of ballots cast in city:2067
