A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF
MONIES IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT INVESTMENT POOL.
WHEREAS,local governments in Arizona are authorized to participate in a Local
Government Investment Pool (LGIP), establish pursuant to Section 35-326, Arizona
Revised Statutes,and operated by the State Treasurer;and,
WHEREAS, the City of Apache Junction, Arizona desires to participate in the Local
Government Investment Pool;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Apache Junction does hereby authorize the deposit and withdrawal of monies in the
Local Government Investment Pool operated by the State Treasurer in accordance
with Section 35-326,Arizona Revised Statutes.
