A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,PLEDGING ITS SUPPORT AND
COOPERATION WITH THE WATER UTILITIES COMMUNITY
FACILITIES DISTRICT (CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA).
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That in August,1994,the City Council authorized the
formation of the Water Utilities Community Facilities District (City
of Apache Junction, Arizona), hereinafter referred to as "District",
by resolution and action.
Section 2.That the City Council of the City of Apache Junction has
supported the efforts of the District by advancing funds to the
District in order to allow the District to be in a position to
acquire a water utility to better serve the citizens and residents
of the City of Apache Junction.
Section 3.That the provisions of A.R.S.§48-701,specifically
A.R.S.§48-712 allow the City of Apache Junction,by resolution,to
order the participation by the City in the costs of any
infrastructure purpose.
Section 4.That by this resolution the City of Apache Junction
hereby acknowledges and expresses its support for the Water
Utilities Community Facilities District and pledges to use its best
efforts,within the constraints imposed by law,to assist the
District in its operation to ensure proper and necessary water
utility service to the citizens of Apache Junction and to be sure
that said utility operations have sufficient funds to operate on a
fiscally sound basis.
