A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Apache
Junction authorizing the submission of Applications for
State HOME and Housing Trust Funds.
WHEREAS, the City of Apache Junction is desirous of undertaking community
development activities;and
WHEREAS,the State of Arizona is administering the HOME Program;and
WHEREAS,the State HOME Program requires that HOME and Housing Trust Funds
requested benefit low income persons;and
WHEREAS,a grantee of State HOME and Housing Trust Funds is required to
comply with the program guidelines,Federal Statutes and regulations.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT,the Mayor and Council of the City of
Apache Junction authorizes the Mayor to sigh the application and contract or
grant documents for receipt and use of these funds;and
THAT,this application for State HOME and Housing Trust Funds meets the
requirements of low income benefit for activities justified as benefitting low
income persons;and
THAT,the City of Apache Junction will comply with all State HOME program
guidelines, Federal Statutes and regulations applicable to the State HOME program
and the certifications contained in the application.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Apache Junction this
20th day of June 1995.
