A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN AMENDMENT TO
COMMERCE CDBG CONTRACT #148-92 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO SIGN A CONTRACT AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS,the City Of Apache Junction has entered into a Contract with the
Department of Commerce to perform certain duties funded by Community Development
Grant funds;and
WHEREAS,said Contract is known as Commerce CDBG Contract #148-92;and
WHEREAS,the City has encountered certain unavoidable delays in completing
the terms of the Contract;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the City submit a request for an
extension of said contract,for a period of two months and that the Mayor be
authorized to sign a formal Contract Amendment pertaining to such Activities.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Apache Junction this
19th day of March 1996.
