A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,APPROVING ARIZONA
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY CRIMINAL JUSTICE ENHANCEMENT
FUND AWARD AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING SIGNATURE.
WHEREAS the Apache Junction Police Department has been awarded a
Street Crime Interdiction Grant from the Arizona Department Public
Safety;and
WHEREAS the Arizona Department of Public Safety requires the City of
Apache Junction to enter into an award agreement with the Arizona
Department of Public Safety,Criminal Justice Enhancement Fund in
order to receive the aforementioned grant:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That the Arizona Department of Public Safety,Criminal
Justice Enhancement Fund Award Agreement,DPS Contract No.95-932,
is hereby approved by the City Council of the City of Apache
Junction,in the form of award agreement marked Exhibit "A",
attached hereto,and by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2.That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
the aforementioned Arizona Department of Public Safety,Criminal
Justice Enhancement Fund Award Agreement.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 2nd DAY OF APRIL,1996.
