A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,DECLARING THAT A DRAINAGE EASEMENT DESCRIBED IN INSTRUMENT NO.
1923-138,PINAL COUNTY RECORD,IS NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR USE AS A
DRAINAGE EASEMENT AND IS HEREBY ABANDONED AND EXTINGUISHED AS A PRESENT OR
FUTURE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS,the requested abandonment is for an easement granted to The City
of Apache Junction for drainage purposes.The area to be abandoned is described
as a portion of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 20,
Township 1 North,Range 8 East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,
Pinal County,Arizona,and more particularly as follows:
Beginning at the west quarter corner of said Section 20:
Thence,South 89°50'00"East along the East-West midsection line of said
Section 20,a distance of 502.12 feet;
Thence,South 00°10'00"West,a distance of 62.21 feet to a point on the
South right-of-way line of Apache Trail,said point being the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING;
Thence,South 00°00'35"West a distance of 38.24 feet:
Thence,South 64°20'55"West a distance of 368.19 feet:
Thence,North 89°52 00"West a distance of 120.14 feet to a point on the
East right-of-way line of Ironwood Drive;
Thence,North 00°01'20"East along the said East right-of-way line of
Ironwood Drive a distance of 25.00 feet;
Thence,South 89°52'00"East a distance of 114.46 feet;
Thence,North 64°20'55"East a distance of 366.67 feet;
Thence,North 89°52 00"West a distance of 4.54 feet;
Thence,North 00°08'00"East a distance of 14.00 feet to a point on the
said South right-of-way line of Apache Trail:
Thence,South 89°52 00"East along the said South right-of-way line of
Apache Trail a distance of 11.55 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
WHEREAS,the City Council of The City of Apache Junction,Arizona,finds
that said Drainage Easement is not necessary for drainage purposes as described
in Instrument No.1923-138.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City

of Apache Junction, Arizona,that the above -described Drainage Easement is hereby
extinguished and abandoned as present or future drainage easement.
