)UNCTION,ARIZONA,SUPPORTING THE CHANGE TO THE SCOPE OF'WORK FOR
F APPLICATION FOR FY 1996 HOME AND STATE HOUSING/TRUST FUNDS
(HOME/HTF)SUBMITTED BY SUPERSTITION MOUNTAIN MENTAL/HEALTH CENTER
AND THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED\BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE/CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,AS FOLMWS:
WHEREAS,on May 21,996,Superstition Mountain/Mental Health Center requested
City Council approval or their application fg( FY 1996 HOME and State Housing
Trust Funds for the pu 9ose of rental acquAition and rehabilitation of two
existing three -bedroom ho es to be used .rental property for the Seriously
Mental Ill population of fipashe Junction.and
WHEREAS,on May 21,1996,the City Council approved Resolution No.96-17,
endorsing the application as pro.eTed by Superstition Mountain Mental Health
Center;and
WHEREAS,on March 7,1997,the rizona epartment of Commerce notified the City
of a request from Superstitio Mountain Mental Health Center to change the Scope
of Work to the acquisition p1 two new home to include a newly -constructed home
located at 463 E.Friar in he Palm Springs Subdivision and a not yet constructed
home located at Parcel o.6,Lot No.1105,tkit No.11,Osage Avenue,in the
Palm Springs Subdiviis),6n;and
WHEREAS,the Depapfment of Commerce and SuperstitApn Mountain Mental Health
Center have requpSted City Council consideration of tile change to the original
Scope of Work.
NOW,THEREFOJRE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the Mayor and City Càuncil of the City of
Apache Jun ion support the requested change to the Scope O1 Work for FY 1996
HOME and tate Housing Trust Funds submitted by Superstitio Mountain Mental
Health Center and the Arizona Department of Health Services.
