A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT AND FINAL
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR ARIZONA GRANDE SUBDIVISION,CASE NO.
SD -97-05,BY KAUFMAN AND BROAD,PHOENIX,ARIZONA.
WHEREAS,the subdivider in case SD -97-05 proposes to subdivide 20.08
acres in the Northeast corner of South Delaware Drive and West Southern Avenue
into 96 residential lots pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes Annotated §9.463
et seq.,and pursuant to the Apache Junction City Code (hereinafter
"A.J.C.C."),Vol.II,Land Development Code (hereinafter "L.D.C."),Chapter 2,
Subdivision Regulations;and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction Planning and Zoning Commission held a
public hearing regarding SD -97-05 on June 10,1997 and recommended approval of
the preliminary plat by a vote of 7 to 0;and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction City Council held a public hearing
regarding the preliminary plat for SD -97-05 on August 5,1997,and approved
said preliminary plat per Resolution 97-21,by a vote of 6-1;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to be consistent
with the Medium Density/Planned Development (3.5 -5.5 dwelling units per
acre)designation of the 1987 Apache Junction General Plan and Amendments
thereto;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to be in
compliance with the and the A.J.C.C.,Vol.II,L.D.C.,Chapter 1,Zoning
Ordinance and Chapter 2,Subdivision Regulations;and Ordinance 1001,which
approved the Planned Development zoning and preliminary plan for the property;
and
WHEREAS,this Council finds the proposed final plat for SD -97-05,
Arizona Grande,to be in substantial compliance with the approved preliminary
plat,formerly known as Vista Grande.

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Apache Junction,Arizona,that:
Said final subdivision plat,SD -97-05,and final Planned Development plan,
which includes the on and off -site improvements,landscape and amenity plans,
be approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 3RD DAY OF NOVEMBER 1998 .
