A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,APPROVING THE FINAL
SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR BASELINE INDUSTRIAL PARK
SUBDIVISION,CASE SD -97-11,BY MONTY AND CLARA
NICHOLS.
WHEREAS,the subdivider in case SD -97-11 proposes to subdivide
approximately 58 acres in the Southwest quarter area of Section 33,Township
One North,Range Eight East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,
Apache Junction,Pinal County,Arizona,into 49 industrial lots pursuant to
Article 6.2 of Chapter 4 of Title 9,Arizona Revised Statutes,and pursuant to
the City Code of Apache Junction.Arizona,Volume II,Land Development Code,
Chapter 2,Subdivision Regulations;and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction Planning and Zoning Commission held a
public hearing regarding the preliminary plat for SD -97-11 on November 25,
1997,and recommended denial of SD -97-11 by a vote 7 to 0;and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction City Council held a public hearing
regarding the preliminary plat for SD -97-11 on January 6,1998,and approved
said preliminary plat per Resolution No.97-45,by a vote of 7-0;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to be in
compliance with the Industrial land use designation of the Apache Junction
General Plan;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to be in
compliance with the City Code of Apache Junction.Arizona,Volume II.Land
Development Code,Chapter I ,Zoning Ordinance,and Chapter 2,Subdivision
Regulations;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds the proposed final plat for SD -97-11,
Baseline Industrial Park,to be in substantial compliance with the approved
preliminary plat.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Apache Junction,Arizona,that:
Said final subdivision plat for Baseline Industrial Park Subdivision,
Case SD -97-11,be approved.
