A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,APPROVING THE FINAL
SUBDIVISION PLAT AND FINAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PLAN
FOR IRONWOOD ESTATES SUBDIVISION,CASE SD -97-03,BY
STARDUST DEVELOPMENT COMPANY.
WHEREAS,the subdivider in case SD -97-03 proposes to subdivide
approximately 45 acres in the Southwest quarter area of Section 31,Township
One North,Range Eight East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,
Pinal County,Arizona,into 210 residential lots pursuant to Article 6.2 of
Chapter 4 of Title 9,Arizona Revised Statutes,and pursuant to the Apache
Junction Subdivision Regulations;and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction Planning and Zoning Commission held a
public hearing regarding SD -97-03 on September 23,1997,and recommended
approval of SD -97-03 by a vote 6 to 0;and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction City Council held a public hearing
regarding the preliminary plat for SD -97-03 on October 21,1997,and approved
said preliminary plat per Resolution No.97-26,by a vote of 7-0;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to not be in
conflict with the Medium Density,Open Space and Industrial designations of
the Apache Junction General Plan;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to be in
compliance with the Apache Junction Zoning Ordinance,the Apache Junction
Subdivision Regulations and Ordinance No.986,which approved the Planned
Development zoning and preliminary plan for the property;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed final plat for SD -97-03,
Ironwood Estates,to be in substantial compliance with the approved
preliminary plat.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Apache Junction,Arizona,that:
Said final subdivision plat for Ironwood Estates Subdivision,Case SD-
97 -03,and final Planned Development plan,which includes the improvements,
landscape and amenity plans,be approved.
