A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR SUNRISE
SHADOWS SUBDIVISION,CASE NO SD -97-10,BY BEAZER HOMES,TEMPE,
ARIZONA.
WHEREAS,the subdivider in case SD -97-10 proposes to sub -divide 15.0 acres
at the northwest corner 12th Avenue and San Marcos Drive into 48 single family
residential lots pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes Annotated §9-463 et seq.,
and pursuant to the Apache Junction City Code (hereinafter "A.J.C.C."),Vol.II,
Land Development Code (hereinafter "L.D.C."),Chapter 2,Subdivision Regulations:
and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction Planning and Zoning Commission held a public
hearing regarding SD -97-10 on July 25,1998 and recommended approval of the
preliminary plat by a vote of 5 to 2:and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction City Council held a public hearing regarding
the preliminary plat for SD -97-10 on November 3,1998 and approved said
preliminary plat in accordance with Resolution No.98-27,by a vote of 7 to 0;
and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to be consistent
with the Medium Density (1 to 6 dwelling units per acre)designation of the 1987
Apache Junction General Plan;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to be in compliance
with the and the A.J.C.C.,Vol.II,L.D.C.,Chapter 1,Zoning Ordinance and
Chapter 2,Subdivision Regulations;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds the proposed final plat for SD -97-10,Sunrise
Shadows,to be in substantial compliance with the approved preliminary plat.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Apache Junction,Arizona,that:
Said final subdivision plat,SD -97-10,which includes the on and off -site
improvements,landscape and amenity plans,be approved.
