A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT AND FINAL
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR SIERRA ENTRADA GARDEN HOMES UNIT 3
SUBDIVISION (A REPLAT OF TRACT B OF SIERRA ENTRADA GARDEN HOMES
UNIT 2),CASE SD -97-09,BY SUNSCAPE DEVELOPMENT INCORPORATED.
WHEREAS,the subdivider in case SD -97-09 proposes to subdivide 1.39 net acres
in the Southeast quarter area of Section 20,Township One North,Range Eight
East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,Apache Junction,Pinal
County,Arizona,into 8 residential lots pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes
(A.R.S.),Title 9,Chapter 4,Article 6.2,and pursuant to the Apache Junction
City Code,Volume II,Land Development Code,Chapter 1,Zoning Ordinance,
Article 19 Planned Development Zoning District,and Chapter 2,Subdivision
Regulations;and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction Planning and Zoning Commission held a public
hearing regarding the preliminary plat for SD -97-09 on October 28,1997,and
recommended approval of SD -97-09 by a vote of 6 to 1;and
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council of Apache Junction held a public hearing
regarding the preliminary plat for SD -97-09 on January 6,1998,and approved
said preliminary plat,per Resolution No.97-44;and
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council finds this final plat to be consistent
with the Medium Density Residential designation,at one to six dwelling units
per acre,of the 1987 Apache Junction General Plan and amendments thereto;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to be in compliance with
the Apache Junction City Code,Volume II,Land Development Code,Chapter 1,
Zoning Ordinance and Chapter 2,Subdivision Regulations,and Ordinance No.
1019,which authorized Tract B to be developed in accordance with the
property's Planned Development zoning,and which also approved the preliminary
plan for the property;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed final plat for SD -97-09,Sierra
Entrada Garden Homes Unit 3 (A Replat of Tract B of Sierra Entrada Garden
Homes Unit 2),is in substantial compliance with the approved preliminary
plat.

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Apache Junction,Arizona,that:
1)The final subdivision plat for Sierra Entrada Garden Homes Unit 3 (A
Replat of Tract B of Sierra Entrada Garden Homes Unit 2)is hereby
approved.
2)The final Planned Development plan,which includes the improvements and
landscape plan,is hereby approved.
3)Staff is directed pursuant to A.R.S.§9-463.01(J)to record the final
plat with the Pinal County Recorder and to collect the final plat
recording fee from the subdivider and remit such amount to the Pinal
County Recorder.

JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 20TH DAY OF JUNE ,2000.
