A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,PURSUANT TO A.R.S.§28-7214 DECLARING THAT A
PUBLIC HIGHWAY EASEMENT DESCRIBED AS 17TH AVENUE FROM VISTA ROAD TO
WICKIUP ROAD DESCRIBED IN ABANDONMENT CASE AB-97-02,IS NO LONGER
NECESSARY FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR PUBLIC ROADWAY PURPOSES AND IS HEREBY
EXTINGUISHED.
WHEREAS,the City upon incorporation became the holder of easements for
public roadway purposes over certain parcels of real property described in Docket
188 Page 417 and Docket 226 Page 526,of the records of Pinal County, Arizona:and
WHEREAS,the City has determined that it will not presently need nor will
it need in the future said easement more particularly described as follows:
Parcel 1 (Adjacent to map 103-20-004)
The South 33'of the North half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 27,Township 1 North,Range 8 East of the Gila
and Salt River Base and Meridian,Pinal County.Arizona:
Except the West 33 and the East 33'thereof.
Parcel 2 (Adjacent to map 103-20-007D)
The North 33'of the West 165'of the South half of the Northeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 27,Township 1 North,Range
8 East of the Salt River Base and Meridian,Pinal County,Arizona:
Except the West 33'thereof.
Parcel 3 (Adjacent to map 103-20-007E)
The North 33'of the East 165'of the West 330'of the South half of the Northeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 27.Township
1 North,Range 8 East of the Salt River Base and Meridian,Pinal County,Arizona:
Parcel 4 (Adjacent to map 103-20-007C)
The North 33'of the West 165'of the East 330'of the South half of the Northeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 27,Township
1 North,Range 8 East of the Salt River Base and Meridian,Pinal County,Arizona:

WHEREAS,the City Council of The City of Apache Junction,Arizona,finds
that said Federally Patented Easement as described herein is classified as a local
street on the Street Classification Plan,and is no longer necessary for right-of-
way for roadway purposes.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Apache Junction,Arizona,as follows:
Section 1.That the above -described easements are hereby extinguished for
rights -of -way for public roadway purposes.
Section 2.That the extinguishment for roadway purposes does not eliminate
the right-of-way for any public utility purposes.
