A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA,DECLARING AS A PUBLIC RECORD THAT CERTAIN DOCUMENT FILED
WITH THE CITY CLERK AND ENTITLED "CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION TAX COE
AMENDMENTS ON A USE TAX";AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Arizona Revised Statutes Annotated (hereinafter "A.R.S ') §9-802 permits
municipalities to enact the provisions of a code or public r ord theretofore in
existence without setting forth such provisions as long aythe adopted ordinance
is published in full and at least three copies of the de or public record are
filed in the office of the clerk of the murfic6lit and are made available for
public use and inspection;and
WHEREAS,city staff has identified a
intent of the city to declare such c

That certain document e itled "CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION TAX CODE AMENDMENTS ON
A USE TAX",three cop's of which are on file in the office of the city clerk,
is hereby declared ibe a public record,shall be made available for public use
and inspection,ap shall remain on file with the city clerk.
SECTION I I y4 DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
The immecOte operation of the provisions of this Resolution is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace,health or safety,and that an
emergency is hereby declared to exist since,among other things,the city is
losing revenue every day the ordinance is not in effect;and this resolution
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,adoption and
approval by the Mayor and Council of the City of Apache Junction.
