A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA.SUPPORTING AND COMMENDING THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY OF APACHE
JUNCTION FOR THEIR EFFORTS IN SUPPORTING THE APACHE JUNCTION PUBLIC LIBRARY
THROUGH A CAPITAL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN.
WHEREAS,the Friends of the Library of Apache Junction have shown their
continued support of the Apache Junction Public Library by providing
ongoing financial assistance for children and adult library programs;
and
WHEREAS,the Friends of the Library of Apache Junction have made a
continued commitment supporting the Apache Junction Public Library's
collection and equipment;and
WHEREAS,the Friends of the Library of Apache Junction continue to
support the Apache Junction Public Library by undertaking a capital
fundraising effort;and
WHEREAS,at the October 16th Work Session,representatives of the
Friends of the Library of Apache Junction made a presentation on their
preliminary plans for a capital fundraising program.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City
of Apache Junction, Arizona.as follows:
That the Friends of the Library of Apache Junction is commended for
undertaking a capital fundraising campaign for improving the
facilities of the Apache Junction Public Library and for their role
in enhancing library services for the citizens of Apache Junction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 7TH DAY OF NOVEMBER ,2000.
