SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 10,1980
A Special Meeting of the City Council of Apache Junction was held
on March 10,1980, at the Apache Junction City Hall,pursuant to the notice
as required by law.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Virginia Seeman called the meeting to order at 6:10 P.M. at
the Apache Junction City Hall.
INVOCATION
Councilman Eidson gave the invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Vice -Mayor John Granillo led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL
Councilmembers present:Mayor Virginia Seeman,Vice -Mayor JohnGranillo,Thomas Damiano,Norman Hill,
Jimmy Eidson,and Marie Shanks
Councilmembers absent:Jerry Burgess

AWARD OF BID,P. W.PROJECT NO.001-80

Councilmembers had any questions on the Bids of the Modulars,P. W.Project
No.001-80.
Councilmembers asked
questions relating to the construction of the modulars,on the square footage,life expectancy,the type of structure,type of foundations,etc.
City Manager Lee explained
the energy package,the structure,that the buildings will be set on piers,the
general layout of the buildings as set forth in the bid specifications,and the
possible future use of the modular units when a permanent City Hall is built.
Further stating the responsibilities of the City on the septic tanks,standby
generator for the police department,the utility hookups, and plans in anti-
cipation of future services.

THAT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION
THAT THE BID FOR PUBLIC WORK'S PROJECT NO.001-80 BE AND IS HEREBY AWARDED
TO BULLOCK BUILDERS 650 W.McKELLIPS ROAD,MESA,ARIZONA IN THE AMOUNT OF
$130,850.21 AS THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER.
Councilman Hill seconded
the motion.
VOTE:Unanimous
Motion carried.
Mayor Seeman called on
Director of Planning,Joe Gero, to make an announcement.
Director of Planning Gero
announced that as a reminder that the Planning and Zoning Commission will meet
Tuesday evening at 7:00 P.M.at the City Hall meeting room and will have a
guest speaker Mr. Ernie Ned,Assistant Commissioner for sub -divisions for
the State of Arizona,Real Estate Department.

THAT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNC-
TION THAT THE MEETING BE ADJOURNED AT 6:25 P.M.
Councilman Damiano seconded
