A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR
VALDEZ COMMERCIAL SUBDIVISION,CASE SD -5-01,BY EDDIE AND VIVIAN
VALDEZ,FEEDBAG RESTAURANT INCORPORATED AND THOMPSON REAL ESTATE
INCORPORATED.
WHEREAS,the subdividers in case SD -5-01 propose to subdivide approximately
6.27 net acres in the Southeast quarter area of Section 20,Township One
North,Range Eight East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian,Apache
Junction,Pinal County,Arizona,into six (6)commercial lots pursuant to
Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.),Title 9,chapter 4,Article 6.2,and
pursuant to the Apache Junction City Code,Volume II,Land Development Code,
Chapter 2,Subdivision Regulations;and
WHEREAS,the Apache Junction Planning and Zoning Commission held a public
hearing regarding the preliminary plat for SD -5-01 on June 26,2001,and
recommended approval of SD -5-01 by a vote of 4-0;and
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council of Apache Junction held a public hearing
regarding the preliminary plat for SD -5-01 on July 3,2001,and approved said
preliminary plat,per Resolution No.01-12,by a vote of Z._ to L;and
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council finds this final plat to be consistent
with the "Employment/Retail"designation of the Apache Junction General Plan;
and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed subdivision to be in compliance with
the Apache Junction City Code,Volume II,Land Development Code,Chapter 1,
Zoning Ordinance,and the Apache Junction City Code,Volume II,Land
Development Code,Chapter 2,Subdivision Regulations;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed final plat for SD -5-01,Valdez
Commercial Subdivision,is in substantial compliance with the approved
preliminary plat.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Apache Junction,Arizona,that:

1.The final subdivision plat for Valdez Commercial Subdivision is hereby
approved.
2.Staff is directed pursuant to A.R.S.§9-463.01(J)to record the final
plat with the Pinal County Recorder and to collect the final plat
recording fee from the subdividers and remit such amount to the Pinal
County Recorder.
