A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AMENDING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION
PLAT FOR INDIAN SUMMER CONDOMINIUM SUBDIVISION,PHASES
FIVE AND SIX,CASE SD -2-02,BY KENNETH SHEWMAKE ON BEHALF
OF SPECTRE WEST BUILDERS,CORPORATION.
WHEREAS,the owner/developer in case SD -2-02 proposes to amend
the previously approved final subdivision plat of Indian Summer
Condominiums,originally approved under case number SD -3-82,by
.renaming Indian Summer Condominiums Phases 5 & 6 to "Mountain Vista
Villas",by deleting condominium unit numbers 13,14,15,16,17,18 and 20
along the upper western property area,by adding' a common area swimming
pool and recreation facilities in the northeastern corner of the
property,by adding an additional driveway access off of Delaware
Drive.by relocating required parking spaces,by deleting access to the
northern four phases of ,Indian Summer Condominiums with the provision
of a gate to be used for emergency and utility service purposes only.
and by the shifting of condominium unit clusters as indicated on the
final subdivision plat amendment:and
WHEREAS.the City of Apache Junction Subdivision Committee held a
public hearing regarding the final subdivision plat for Indian Summer
Condominiums',case number SD -3-82,on December 8,1982,and recommended
approval of the plat to the City Council;and
WHEREAS,the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache
Junction held a public hearing regarding the final subdivision plat for
Indian Summer Condominiums,case number SD -3-82,on September 6,1983.
and approved the plat;and
WHEREAS,this Council finds this proposed final subdivision plat
amendment to be in compliance with the CR-5/PD (Multi -Family Residence
Zone by Planned Development)zoning on the property.and the Apache
Junction City Code,Volume II,Land Development Code,Chapter 1.Zoning
Ordinance,and the Apache Junction City Code,Volume II,Land
Development Code,Chapter 2.Subdivision Regulations.
NOW,THEREFORE.BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Apache Junction,Arizona.that:

The final subdivision plat for Indian Summer Condominiums.Phases 5 and
6.shall be amended to reflect the following general changes:
I .Indian Summer Condominiums Phases 5 & 6 shall be renamed
"Mountain Vista Villas -.
2.Condominium unit numbers 13,14,15,16,17,18 and 20,in the
northwest area of Phase 5 shall be deleted.
3.A common area swimming pool and recreation facilities shall be
added in the northeastern corner area of the property and
replace twenty-one former parking spaces.
4.An additional -driveway access shall be provided off of
Delaware Drive as indicated on the amended final subdivision
plat.
5.Required parking spaces shall be relocated as indicated on the
amended final subdivision plat.
6.Through access to the northern four phases of Indian Summer
Condominiums shall be deleted,however,a gate shall be
provided to be used for emergency and utility service purposes
only.
7.Condominium unit clusters shall be shifted as indicated on the
final subdivision plat amendment.
