A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DECLARING AS A PUBLIC RECORD THAT CERTAIN
DOCUMENT FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK AND ENTITLED "THE 2002 AMENDMENTS
TO THE TAX CODE OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA";AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
That certain document entitled "THE'.2003AMENDMENTS TO THETAX CODE OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION",three copies of which are on file in the office of the city
clerk,is hereby declared to be a public record and said copies are ordered to
remain on file with the city clerk.
SECTION II DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
The immediate operation of the provision of this Resolution is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace,health or safety,and an emergency is
hereby declared to exist since these provisions need to be in effect statewide
throughout other communities no later than June 1,2003;this Resolution shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage,adoption and approval by the
Mayor and Council;and further this Resolution shall not be subject to the
referendum provisions of A.R.S.§ 19-143(B).
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the Mayor and Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,this 6TH day of MAY ,2003.,
