A RESOLUTION OF THE 'MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION.ARIZONA.AMENDING THE FINAL SUB-
DIVISION PLAT FOR MERIDIAN MANOR'PHASE [II.CASE SD -6-03.

WHEREAS.on June 25.1996.the Planning and Zoning Commission
held a public hearing regarding the original preliminary plat for the
Meridian Manor Subdivision.Case SD -3-96.and recommended approval of
the plat to City Council:and
WHEREAS.on September 3.1996.the Mayor and City Council held a
public hearing regarding the final subdivision plat for Meridian Manor
Subdivision.Case SD -3-96.and approved the plat by a vote of 7 to 0:
and
WHEREAS.on September 3.2002.the Mayor and City Council held a
public hearing regarding the amendment to Phase III of the final
subdivision Plat of Meridian Manor.whose amendments are more
thoroughly documented in the Apache Junction City Council Resolution
No.02-17:and
-WHEREAS.the owner/developer in Case SD -6-03 proposes a second
amendment to the previously approved final subdivision plat of Meridian
Manor Subdivision,originally approved under Case SD -3-96.and amended
under Case SD -1-02.by reinstating nine lots from open space and a
driveway into saleable lots with age restricted ownership as previously
depicted under Case SD -3-96.in Phase III of Meridian Manor:and
WHEREAS.the City Council finds this proposed final subdivision
plat amendment to be in compliance with the TH/PD (Trailer Homesites by
Planned Development)zoning on the property.and the Apache Junction
City Code.Volume II.Land Development Code.Chapter 1.Zoning
Ordinance,and the Apache Junction City Code.Volume II.Land
Development Code.Chapter 2.Subdivision Regulations.

NOW.THEREFORE.BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Apache Junction.Arizona.that:
1.The amended final subdivision plat for Meridian Manor
Subdivision Phase III.Case SD -6-03.is approved.
Staff is directed.pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes
Section 9-463.01(J).to record the final plat with the
Pinal County Recorder and collect the final plat recording
fee from the sub -divider and remit such amount to the
Pinal County Recorder.
3.The entrance on South Delaware Drive shall remain and the
amended plat will not be recorded until the drawing
with the gated entrance on South Delaware is reinstated.

JUNCTION.ARIZONA.THIS 23RD DAY OF AUGUST .2004.
