HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 06-49RESOLUTION NO. 06-49 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, DECLARING AS A PUBLIC RECORD AND AMENDING THAT CERTAIN DOCUMENT FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK ENTITLED,"THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006- 2007." WHEREAS, the most recent Classification Plan was adopted ON June 19, 2006 for all classified employees of the City of Apache Junction; and WHEREAS, adoption of the Classification Plan retains this plan as part of the budget for Fiscal Year 2006-2007; and WHEREAS, ON June 19, 2006, the Mayor and City Council adopted the final budget for Fiscal Year 2006-2007, establishing funding for the positions as set forth in the Classification Plan for Fiscal Year 2006-2007; and WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the Fiscal Year 2006-2007 Classification Plan to reflect the following changes: From (Title) Salary Group , To (Title) Salary Group Senior Commander 72 Deputy Chief of Police 72 Librarian II 54 Supervisory Librarian 54 Paralegal 42 Legal Assistant 38 Secretary to the City Attorney 38 Executive Legal Assistant 42 Secretary to the City Manager 38 Executive Secretary to the City Manager 42 Economic Development Director *Economic Development Director 75 Court Clerk II 31 Systems Court Clerk 33 Housing Program Assistant *Housing Program Assistant 28 Project Engineer 59 Development Services Engineer 59 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction, Arizona as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 06-49 PAGE 1 of 2 SECTION I DECLARING A PUBLIC RECORD The documents entitled "City of Apache Junction Classification Plan for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 as amended (Exhibit A), three copies of which are on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Apache Junction, Arizona, are hereby declared to be public records; and the copies shall remain on file with the City Clerk's Office and shall be available for public examination and reproduction upon request. SECTION II ADOPTION OF PLANS The document entitled "City of Apache Junction Classification Plan for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 as amended" is hereby adopted, referred to, and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, THIS 17TH DAY OF OCTOBER , 2006.
