A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DECLARING AS A PUBLIC RECORD AND
ADOPTING THAT CERTAIN DOCUMENT FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK
AND ENTITLED CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND
RECOVERY PLAN.
WHEREAS,Arizona Revised Statutes § 26-307(A)allows Arizona cities and
towns to make,amend and rescind orders,rules and regulations
necessary for emergency functions and consistent with orders,rules and
regulations promulgated by the governor:and
WHEREAS,Arizona Revised Statutes § 26-308(6)requires that each
Arizona city and town establish and provide for emergency management
within its jurisdiction in accordance with state emergency plans and
programs.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA:
That certain document entitled City of Apache Junction Arizona
Emergency Response and Recovery Plan,three (3)copies of which are ,on
file in the office of the City Clerk,is hereby adopted and declared to
be a public record and said copies are ordered to remain on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THIS 21ST DAY OF FEBRUARY
2006.
