A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR LANTANA VILLAS,A
RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION,IN CASE SD -1-05,BY AJ INVESTORS GROUP.
WHEREAS,the subdivider in Case SD -1-05 proposes to subdivide
portions of Pinal County Assessor's Parcel Numbers ("APN")102-08-003B
and 102-08-003C,approximately 5 gross acres,into 24 residential lots
pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes,Title 9,Chapter 4,Article 6.2
and pursuant to Apache Junction City Code,Volume II,Land Development
Code,Chapter 1,Zoning Ordinance,Section 15.0400,CR-3 Single -Family
Residence Zone District,Section 19.0101,Planned Development Zoning
District,Chapter 2,Subdivision Regulations.The property is legally
described as:
The East 265 feet of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 29;and the
North 125 feet of the West 395 feet of the Southwest quarter
of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section
29,Township 1 North,Range 8 East of the Gila and Salt River
Base and Meridian,Pinal County,Arizona;and
WHEREAS,on September 20,2005,the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Apache Junction approved Ordinance No.1243 for rezoning Case
PZ-14-05,to change the zoning district classification from General
Rural ("GR")and Single -Family Residence Zone ("CR-3")to Single -Family
Residence Zone through Planned Development ("CR-3/PD")for the
property,by a vote of 7 to 0;and
WHEREAS,on August 23,2005,the Planning and Zoning Commission
held a public hearing regarding the preliminary plat for Case SD -1-05
and recommended approval by a vote of 6 to 0;and
WHEREAS,the City Council finds the Final Subdivision Plat to be
in compliance with the Apache Junction City Code,Volume II,Land
Development Code,Chapter 1,Zoning Ordinance,Section 15.0400,CR-
3/PD,Chapter 2,Subdivision Regulations,and Ordinance No.1243,which
authorizes the Final Plat for the property.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council
of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,that:

1)The Final Subdivision Plat for Lantana Villas,Case
SD -1-05 be approved.
2)Staff is hereby directed,pursuant to Arizona Revised
Statutes § 9-463.01(J),to record the Final Plat
with the Pinal County Recorder and to collect the Final
Plat recording fee from the subdivider and remit the
amount to the Pinal County Recorder.
